Located approximately 30 miles southwest of Austin, Texas, the Hamilton Pool Preserve is a historic swimming hole. The natural pool and creek are not chemically treated, so water quality is monitored regularly. Though swimming is occasionally restricted, I plan to one day go swimming here!

I would have to thank the Disney Channel movie Motocrossed for creating my desire to try this amazing sport. It’s mind-blowing how riders can just let go of all fear and do the most amazing tricks and ride like they have nothing to lose. I hope to one day be that fearless and ride like this, or at least be able to ride one of these bikes on a flat surface!

In Slovenia tourists can visit Bled Castle on lake Bled, or should I say in Lake Bled. The castle was built in the 15th century on the only natural island in Slovenia. The church on the island is a popular wedding spot, and can only be reached after walking up 99 steps. Traditionally it is considered good luck for the groom to carry his bride up the 99 steps on the day of their wedding before ringing the bell and making a wish inside the church. I definitely want to visit this some day.

Back in 2009, to promote the European release of Up, Disney created a hot air balloon with an inflatable house that resembled the one straight from the movie. The Up balloon was made in England, took six months to build and consisted of 540 individually sewn balloons, each with 13 panels, attached to a digitally printed envelope. What is more beautiful than the collision of energetic particles with atoms in the high altitude atmosphere (or for those who don’t speak “science”, natures own light show)? I love winter so much, especially the snow! What’s a better way to enjoy the cold season than live inside an igloo? In a hotel in Kakslautten, Finland guests have the opportunity to stay in a heated glass igloo under the stars. So, yeah, it may not be the traditional igloo, but at least I could watch the Northern Lights.
